Glossopdale School

School Council

The School Council is an active and important part of our school, which encourages care for others, team building, critical thinking and self-confidence among our student body. Members of the Council are actively involved in many aspects of school life, including:

  • Environmental concerns,
  • Peer Group Counselling
  • Organising students’ responses to general college matters

Each Year there are two positions per Year Group available on the Council. Students will be made aware of when elections are taking place, if you are a Tutor Representative you are eligible to nominate yourself.

The Sixth Form Student Council play an active part in charitable events, organising student socials and representing the student body in matters relating to life and learning at Sixth Form.
