Cover Supervisor

31.5 hrs per week/39 wks per year

Grade 7 £14,430 - £15,737

We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Cover Supervisor.

The successful applicant will need to be a confident, well-organised, positive person who is able to provide continuity in the classroom covering short term teaching staff absence. Good levels of literacy and numeracy are essential, together with good communication skills.

RELIEF CARETAKER

£8.30 - £8.54 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic school caretaker, who is available to work on a relief only basis.  The relief caretaker will provide cover for staff absences and school events as required.

The duties of a school caretaker may include, but are not limited to:  general maintenance and minor repairs, liaising with contractors, security; opening and closing the school, dealing with the alarm systems, basic cleaning, dealing with deliveries, setting up and clearing rooms for school functions and key holding.  

Caretakers must be honest, reliable and trustworthy.  They must be able to work well on their own using their own initiative, as well as working well within a larger team.  They must be able to effectively prioritise workload and have excellent communication skills.

Candidates will ideally have previous caretaking experience, however, the school will consider candidates who have a background in maintenance, facilities or security.  A DBS check will be required for this role.
