Well-being

Students who feel safe, secure and supported are students who are enabled to learn. We are proud of the pastoral support we offer and believe that our organisation across three sites enables us to support our students at key transitional points of school life. At Glossopdale we operate a year system. Your child will meet their tutor twice a day for registration and will follow a personal development programme. We encourage spiritual, cultural and global understanding through our personal development programmes and weekly assemblies led by the Year Manager.

We are developing the extended school aspect of support with on-site provision for health advice services, the safer schools team and youth service. We also have strong links with local community groups including the youth service, police and children's services. The health and well being of our students is important, and we endeavour to support their emotional, social and moral development to enable them to flourish.
